To enroll, customers must be in good status and an owner on the selected Sterling Bank Personal Checking Account with a corresponding VISA® Sterling Bank Debit Card. Sterling Bank Personal Maximum Savings Account and Personal Christmas Club Account are eligible for account owners to select as a receiving account for Round Up to Save. Customers enrolling in Round Up to Save can also choose another customer’s eligible Personal Sterling Bank Maximum Savings Account or Personal Christmas Club Account (by name or account number) to receive the Round Up savings. Savings will vary based on the number of purchases and purchase amounts made using your VISA® Sterling Bank Debit Card. External accounts at other financial institutions are not eligible to receive Round Up to Save proceeds. Both signature and PIN transactions made with VISA® Sterling Bank Debit Cards qualify for Round Up to Save transactions. ATM transactions do not qualify. Round Up to Save transactions will be funded via a transfer from the checking account associated with your VISA® Sterling Bank Debit Card to the designated Personal Maximum Savings Account or Personal Christmas Club Account. Debit card purchases eligible for service will be calculated nightly and one total credit will be made to the designated Personal Maximum Savings Account or Personal Christmas Club Account. The debit and credit will appear on your online banking account and periodic account statement. For a transaction to round up, the checking account balance must be sufficient to process the transaction, and the transaction amount must not be a whole dollar amount. A round up will not occur if the account balance is zero, negative or becomes zero after the round up transaction. If your debit card purchase is subsequently canceled or reversed, the corresponding round up transfer will remain in the Personal Maximum Savings Account or Personal Christmas Club Account. We may cancel or modify the Round Up to Save program at any time without prior notice. Checking account/Savings account service fee structure, interest and all other terms and conditions remain unchanged by enrollment in the Round Up to Save service. Fees may reduce overall earnings. You can enroll, opt-out or change the eligible designated receiving account at any time by contacting your local branch.
